Tensegrity Furniture

This was an academic project by 3rd year students at the Architecture School of Universidad de Santiago of Chile. The students had to research tensegrity structures and experiment with models to understand how they worked and how to create them. After this exploration process, they were asked to design and build a piece of furniture for the university campus.
